Description Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will control payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P. Responsibilities
Alternative special projects as requested
Maintain sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments
Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Prepare cash flow projections, as needed
Manage Accounts Payable
Knowledgeable with Accounts Receivable
Organize cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Competent in credit card management and reconciliation
Manage monthly accounting close
Recap business license and gross receipts
Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Catalog budget transfers Requirements - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Aged Receivables experience highly preferred
General familiarity with Accrued Expenses
Comprehension of Bank Balances
Account reconciliation experience required
Experience with Bank Account Reconciliation
Earlier work involving Analyze Revenues
Good understanding of Cam Reconciliation
Demonstrated knowledge of Accrual Accounting
Practical knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
Solid understanding of Account Balance
Background working with AIA Documents
Bank reconciliations experience highly valued
Previous experience working with CAMS Certification
Accounting Entries experience
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)
Adeptness in accruals
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience highly desired
Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
