Robert Half Litigation Paralegal - Federal and State in Roswell, Georgia

Description

We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Paralegal to join a law firm in Roswell / Alpharetta, Georgia. This role primarily focuses on Litigation and Whistleblower cases, specifically in the context of False Claims Act whistleblower litigation and fraud. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting throughout all phases of litigation, from conducting potential client interviews to basic legal research and drafting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive investigations, potential client interviews, and legal research.

• Undertake document review tasks with a particular focus on using Electronic Stored Information (ESI) programs for review.

• Draft basic pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and timeliness.

• Perform administrative duties including calendar management for deadlines and organizing case files.

• Maintain indices for pleadings and discovery to ensure easy access and retrieval.

• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices systematically for ease of use during proceedings.

• Handle ESI to be produced and ingested into document review software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

• Be prepared for potential training as an Office Administrator replacement, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department.

• Proficiency in Litigation Paralegal tasks is essential.

• Experience in handling Whistleblower cases is highly desirable.

• A Bachelor's degree in law or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

• Strong knowledge of legal research databases and legal case management software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Must be a team player, able to work effectively with others.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large volume of information.

• Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

• Must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
