Robert Half Accounting Manager in Round Rock, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Round Rock, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and managing all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. You will also be preparing and presenting financial statements, management reports, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
• Coordinate and manage annual audits, tax filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline accounting procedures
• Hire, train, and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and support for professional development
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions and provide insights to senior management
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer credit inquiries
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Understanding of Great Plains (GPAC)
• Ability to manage Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Auditing
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
