Description
We are seeking a CPA Tax Senior Accountant to join our team in Royal Palm Beach. This role in the Public Accounting industry involves the preparation of various tax returns, financial statements, and adjustment journal entries, as well as the management of tax planning and sales tax returns. The role also requires effective communication with IRS and state agencies.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare a range of tax returns including Individual, Corporate, Partnership, and Trust Tax Returns
• Conduct tax planning for self-employed business owners in an efficient and effective manner
• Prepare and manage both quarterly and year-end payroll tax returns
• Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
• Compile year-end financial statements and make necessary adjusting journal entries
• Offer assistance to clients with QuickBooks, specifically in cleaning up financial reports
• Communicate professionally and promptly with IRS and state agencies on behalf of clients
• Maintain the accuracy of customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with CaseWare
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Knowledge of Auditing procedures
• Understanding of Compliance regulations
• Familiarity with Entity Formation
• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements
• Proficiency in UltraTax CS
• Experience with Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software
• Ability to work with Creative Solutions - UltraTax
• Experience in preparing Complex Tax Returns
• Familiarity with preparing Consolidated Tax Returns
• Experience with Federal Income Tax Returns
• Ability to prepare Individual Tax Returns
• Understanding of IRS Tax regulations
• Experience in preparing Federal Tax Returns
