Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Saco, Maine. The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks within the financial industry, including account reconciliation, data entry, and managing client contracts.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications as a part of the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information to ensure up-to-date account status.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to rectify any discrepancies.
• Handle phone calls for the purpose of collecting money and tracking sales.
• Manage insurance and contracts with clients, ensuring all details are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate.
• Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and month-end close processes.
• Participate in sales calls to track the money and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including data entry and financial reporting.
• Process payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Requirements • Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Capable of managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Bank Reconciliations
• Skilled in Bookkeeping
• Proven ability in Data Entry
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrable experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll processes
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
