Robert Half Sales Coordinator in Saco, Maine
Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sales Assistant in Saco, Maine. This role primarily involves supporting our outside sales representatives, aiding in customer qualification, and managing schedules and quotes. The position is fully onsite with working hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
• Assist outside sales representatives with customer inquiries and orders
• Qualify potential customers
• Schedule deliveries and make final confirmation calls
• Prepare and follow up on paper quotes for customers
• Use specific software to generate quotes, adjusting numbers for contractors as necessary
• Manage contractor information and sales data using Microsoft Excel
• Organize and track sales pipeline to ensure smooth sales processes
• Address customer inquiries regarding credit applications and maintain customer credit records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all tasks are completed during the busy winter season.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Demonstrated ability in closing processes
• Experience in job scheduling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience in customer service or retail sales is a plus
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
