Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting operations, with a focus on union payroll management.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for unionized employees, adhering to labor agreements and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with HR and project management teams to forecast labor needs and optimize workforce utilization.
Maintain compliance with union regulations and reporting requirements, staying abreast of changes and updates in labor laws.
Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management, offering insights to support strategic decision-making.
Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proven experience in accounting management, with specific expertise in union payroll administration within the construction industry.
Thorough understanding of labor agreements, union regulations, and prevailing wage requirements.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to drive business decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
