Robert Half COMPUTER PROJECT Manager in Sacramento, California
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Computer Project Manager in Sacramento, California. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing all aspects of a major IT-related project, including coordinating team activities, assembling the project team, and ensuring quality assurance and timely project completion.
Responsibilities:
• Manage IT-related project activities for strategic projects
• Coordinate project team members, assigning individual roles and responsibilities
• Develop project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Interact with the team to develop project plans and prototypes
• Handle client/server technology solutions, including commercial off the shelf products
• Ensure quality assurance measures are implemented and maintained
• Perform administrative supervision in addition to technical supervision
• Act as a liaison between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers
• Maintain good customer relations, explaining technical trade-offs to managers and customers
• Utilize computerized project management software for project tracking and management
• Apply knowledge of statistics, SQL, and database programming in project execution
• Develop web-based applications combining databases and web front-ends
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
• Oversee employee performance reviews, counseling, and development
• Provide leadership and training to subordinates. Requirements • Proven experience in Computer Project Management
• Proficient in Database Development and SQL Programming
• Strong knowledge of Procedures, Policy, and Methodology
• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks
• Experience in Quality Assurance and HIPAA-regulated environments
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
• Demonstrated Leadership Skills and experience in Supervising teams
• Knowledge of Application Development and Prototyping
• Proficient in using 'About Time' software
• Experience with Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Strong Management and Training skills
• Ability to serve as a Liaison between different departments or teams
• Proficient in using 'Go' programming language
• Strong understanding of Statistics
