This permanent Contracts Manager role is available via Robert Half. In the Contracts Manager role, the candidate will manage and negotiate contracts when necessary, along with maintaining vendor subcontracts and agreements. Likewise, the Contracts Manager will draft contracts and direct other assignments when necessary. This Contracts Manager role will be fully remote, but will require the person to work Pacific Time Zone hours (PST).

Key responsibilities

• Create and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

• Examine external clients' contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance, and red-line documents as required for compliance

• Evaluate and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

• Regulate and maintain contracts database

• Shephard the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

• Support contract administration functions with the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments

• Oversee internal and external requests on status of contracts

• Prepare contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

• Develop and manage contract repositories

• Broker and outsource contracts

  Requirements

• 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts

• Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

• Bachelor's degree

  • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

• Proficient with strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

• Demonstrated experience in review and drafting of non-disclosure agreements; preferably, some exposure to software evaluation and licensing agreements

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

• Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent

• The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Uphold company's professional standards in a fast-paced environment

• Special organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines

• Foundational knowledge in Contract Management

• Professional in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
