Robert Half Healthcare is looking for an Insurance Verification Coordinator to work with an established provider in the Sacramento area. This position will provide support to the Medical billing staff and clarify details of insurance coverage with private or government carriers and offer information to patient before the scheduled medical services are provided.
Duties included will be, obtaining insurance authorization for procedures and track referrals and provide details to the billing staff. Position can also include heavy phone interaction, customer service, organizational and problem solving skills. You will be working with physicians, claims processors, medical billers, and patients.

Requirements of the position:
Microsoft Office suite
Required Skills Minimum Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
Knowledge of obtaining authorizations, running eligibility, and familiarity with various insurances.
Fluent in Spanish speaking
Experience with NextGen Software
