We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced civil litigation attorney to join our growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on one or more of the following areas:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial, including:
Conducting legal research
Drafting pleadings and other legal documents
Preparing for and attending trials and hearings
The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for clients and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The candidate must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through trial
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and other legal documents
Prepare for and attend trials and hearings
Communicate with clients and keep them informed of the status of their cases
Work with other attorneys and paralegals to prepare for and represent clients in court
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admission to practice law in California
At least one year of experience in civil litigation
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
