Robert Half Network Administrator in Sacramento, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in Sacramento, California. This role falls within the service industry and involves executing a range of network administration tasks in both on-premises and cloud environments. The successful candidate will ensure network performance meets user requirements while maintaining security, reliability, and scalability across all systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain network performance to meet user and company requirements

• Manage on-premises and cloud environments with an emphasis on security and reliability

• Perform regular maintenance, evaluation, and installation tasks to ensure LAN performance

• Provide hardware, software, and infrastructure support for enterprise-wide applications

• Monitor and maintain Cisco routers and technologies

• Utilize Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, and Active Directory in the maintenance and management of the network

• Implement and maintain backup technologies and manage computer hardware

• Handle configuration management and deployments as needed

• Ensure the firewall and other security measures are functioning optimally and updated regularly

• Use database management skills to ensure data is organized and accessible. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Network Administrator role or similar.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco ASA Firewalls

• Demonstrated proficiency in AWS

• Demonstrated proficiency in SAN technologies

• Demonstrated proficiency in VMware

• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies.

• Strong knowledge in Database Management and Active Directory.

• Experience with Backup Technologies.

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware and Configuration Management.

• Proven experience in Deployments and Firewall management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Relevant certifications and qualifications are desirable.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Strong understanding of industry best practices.
