Description
Lisa Cole with Robert Half offering an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner for her client. As a Production Planner, your primary role will be to develop and maintain comprehensive schedules, oversee critical activities, and ensure adherence to schedules from design through to delivery within an ERP environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive master schedule across multiple areas such as design, procurement, quality records, and manufacturing using our ERP system.
• Ensure the successful completion of multiple projects or programs by closely monitoring each step.
• Actively participate in team meetings to lead schedule objectives, discuss progress, and address potential resource and process convergence of scheduled objectives.
• Coordinate the arrival and availability of resources to ensure projects continue on schedule and without disruptions.
• Implement dynamic scheduling in response to business needs and conditions.
• Create daily and weekly WIP control dispatch objectives for the Production floor.
• Track activities and materials to ensure adherence to schedule.
• Identify best practices and procedures to inform future programs.
• Coordinate the necessary supplies for program setup, execution, and delivery schedules.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment across departments.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in a production planning role
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing processes and principles
• Experience in managing Work In Progress (WIP)
• Demonstrated skills in Master Scheduling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Proven track record in improving production efficiency
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
