Description

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of multiple client print and direct mail projects. This includes managing design specifications, ensuring postal compliance, reviewing print and artwork collateral, handling payments, purchasing, budgeting, and billing. The role involves determining and coordinating the appropriate internal resources to achieve successful client project and campaign outcomes. They should have an ability to develop project plans, oversee projects, efficiently communicate changes, and progress, as well as ensuring completion of projects within the stipulated timeframe. In this role, the individual should constantly strive to enhance technical skills through training and development opportunities, while also focusing upon skills like outstanding customer service, excellent oral communication, and commitment to teamwork. The Project Manager should also display a strong business acumen and upright work ethics. Minimum prerequisites for the role include a bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, minimum of two years' Project Management experience, and solid technical knowledge about process improvement, freight and distribution materials management, as well as production scheduling. The work schedule is full-time, weekdays from Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field

  • Minimum two years of related project management experience

  • Competency in synthesizing complex or diverse information

  • Proficient in handling design specs/issues for postal compliance

  • Capable of managing print and artwork collateral review

  • Ability to manage purchasing, budgeting, billing and payment

  • Experienced in and knowledge of process improvement, materials management, and production scheduling

  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office software applications

  • Solid understanding of project costing techniques, financial controls, and business case analysis

  • Good aptitude for problem-solving and able to develop alternative solutions

  • High level of customer service skills, including managing difficult customer situations and responding promptly to customer needs

  • Excellent oral communication skills, including speaking clearly and persuasively

  • Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting everyone's efforts to succeed

  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of the business implications of decisions

  • Uphold ethics, integrity, and organizational values

  • Physical resilience, capable of standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling regularly

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Good visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Willingness to work full-time, Monday through Friday

  • Able to meet commitments made to clients and respond to requests for service and assistance promptly.

  • Positive and supportive team player with the ability to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives

  • Strong decision-making skills display an orientation to profitability

  • Experience with freight and distribution is a plus

  • Ability to enhance skills by pursuing training and development opportunities

  • Excellent knowledge of employee training and development.
