Description
Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing construction company is seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will include overseeing general accounting operations, reviewing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the legality of our financial transactions. Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing and consolidating financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
Analyzing and reporting on financial status including cost analysis, capital expenditures, and budget discrepancies.
Overseeing routine department activities such as disbursing checks and accounting for business operations.
Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Managing company ledgers and daily reconciliation of financial reports.
Forecasting revenues and expenditures and advice on budgeting.
Ensuring the accuracy of financial information and reporting on financial results on a monthly basis.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years' experience accounting position, specifically within construction or manufacturing industries.
Proficient knowledge of accounting software, Excel, and ERP systems.
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
