Robert Half Payroll Tax Specialist in Saddle Brook, New Jersey
A client in Fort Lee, NJ is currently seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist on a contract to full-time basis. The Payroll Tax Specialist will report to the Payroll Manager, and will have full oversight for handling all tax notices, ensuring registrations for various states/jurisdictions are current, and processing tax documents (W2, W3, 941, etc.). Additional responsibilities include reconciling tax invoices, interfacing with tax vendors, reconciling variances among tax reports, ensuring proper tax coding for employees, and staying up-to-date on all tax compliance updates. The ideal Payroll Tax Specialist will have recent experience in a Payroll Tax capacity at organizations with over 1,000 employees, will be proficient with typical ADP payroll software, and will have prior experience working with Oracle or SAP platforms. Thorough understanding of Payroll Tax laws is a must!
