Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Saint Louis, Missouri

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer based in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves practicing law with a focus on Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, and Employment Law. The successful candidate will be expected to handle case management, draft motions and memoranda, and conduct legal research.

Responsibilities:

• Practice law in the areas of Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, and Employment Law

• Utilize legal software such as 3M, LexisNexis, and other Case Management Software to manage cases and conduct legal research

• Draft legal documents and motions as part of case management

• Handle complaint administration and civil litigation processes

• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case development and legal proceedings

• Ensure accurate documentation of all legal proceedings and actions taken

• Maintain a management system for efficient case handling and tracking

• Conduct briefings on case status and developments to relevant parties

• Administer claims and handle any arising issues related to the claims. Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Attorney/Lawyer

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, Legal software, and LexisNexis

• Experience with Management System

• Proven ability in Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Documentation

• Strong skills in Legal Research

• Must be able to Draft Legal Documents and Draft Motions

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to continue learning and improving legal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advise clients on legal matters

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients

• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and professional responsibility

• Must be able to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.
