Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Saint Louis, Missouri
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. Working in the telecom industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and generating financial reports.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and classified.
• Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
• Prepare and file various tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting principles.
• Collaborate with external auditors as needed.
• Use skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Accounting, and Journal Entries to perform duties. Requirements • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated experience in General Accounting practices
• Proficient in preparing and posting Journal Entries
• Expertise in full-charge bookkeeping tasks
• Ability to reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
