Robert Half Human Resources Coordinator in Saint Louis, Missouri

Description

Robert Half is recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist for an organization in St. Louis, Missouri on a direct hire basis. The Human Resources Coordinator works under the supervision of the HR Generalist, providing support for various Human Resources functions including benefits, payroll, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include assisting team members with benefit and HR inquiries, maintaining employee personnel files, managing phone communications, and greeting visitors professionally. They prepare employee manuals, coordinate benefit eligibility, handle new hire paperwork and orientations, and organize training sessions and interviews. Additionally, the role involves maintaining applicant databases, conducting background screenings, and producing company newsletters. Candidates should ideally have a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of HR experience. This role is hybrid with a requirement to be onsite at least 2 days per week. Requirements

  • Prior full cycle recruiting experience

  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis

  • Excellent written and verbal business skills

  • Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

  • Prior experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

  • Prior experience coordinating and implementing Open Enrollment is a plus

  • Prior HR Generalist experience

  • Strong understanding local, state and federal laws

  • Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms

    • The responsibilities of this position will require you to be highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
