Job Title: Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Location: St. Louis, MO (Flexible Work-From-Home Days after first 6 months, Must be Local to St. Louis)

Job Type: Full Time

Your opportunity:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Personal Injury Legal Assistant to join our exceptional legal team. If you are an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual seeking an entrée into the legal field or if you're an experienced professional seeking a new challenge, we want to hear from you! We're happy to offer training for more entry-level candidates passionate about law.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of legal documents.

  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments and court appearances.

  • Efficient communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential. We're happy to train those keen to learn!

  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant or a quick learner who is willing to learn!

• Proficient in using Aderant and Adobe Acrobat

• Familiarity with Case Management Software and CompuLaw

• Ability to handle Billing Functions and Calendar Management

• Experience in Claim Administration and maintaining Client Relations

• Excellent Communication skills

• Must have knowledge in Personal Injury Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and dealing with Personal Injury Plaintiffs
