Robert Half Paralegal in Saint Louis, Missouri
Description We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. This role is instrumental in assisting attorneys through all stages of personal injury cases and maintaining a high-volume case load. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation and a commitment to client services.
Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys in all stages of personal injury cases, from inception through appeal.
• Conduct interviews with new and existing clients to ascertain case details, personal narratives, and injury specifics.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and other correspondence.
• Conduct legal research to support case issues and provide relevant information to attorneys.
• Maintain and manage a high-volume case load and keep up-to-date client records.
• Facilitate communication and correspond with opposing counsel, judges, and clients to schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Review and analyze medical records and coordinate with medical providers.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to clients' needs and concerns, ensuring confidentiality and respect at all times.
• Use skills such as Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, Microsoft Excel, and Briefing effectively to perform duties. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software
• Demonstrated ability in briefing, calendar management, and complaint handling
• Extensive knowledge and experience in personal injury law, personal injury litigation, and personal injury plaintiffs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
• Bachelor's degree in law or related field preferred
• Paralegal certification is an advantage.
