Description We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the communications industry, located in St Louis Earnings Tx, Missouri, 63102-2730, United States. The role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The successful candidate will fulfill the role of a Staff Accountant, a position that plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare intercompany reconciliations for multiple agencies

• Assist with intercompany invoicing to ensure proper routing

• Create intercompany settlements to minimize exchange rate impact

• Reconcile outstanding intercompany items throughout the month

• Perform intercompany revenue and expense analysis

• Create intercompany payables/receivables journal entries as well as accounts payable vouchers

• Assist the Financial Reporting group with various duties during the month-end close process, including preparing the company’s financial reporting packages with detail

• Work on special compliance projects as needed

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records Requirements • Proficiency in performing Month End Close activities

• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience in preparing and managing Journal Entries

• Familiarity with managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in the Communications industry

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
