Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk role in Saint Paul, Minnesota, 55105, United States. This role is focused on the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. As a Credit Clerk, you will also be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and manage customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts for any changes or irregularities
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers
• Process vendor payments
• Prepare and submit journal entries for AP general ledger account activity
• Collaborate with Business Services colleagues to facilitate quality service delivery
• Serve as primary back up to the Payables Specialist for entering payments and other duties
• Utilize skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Process Expense Reports, and Expense Reporting in daily tasks
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Knowledge of Invoice Processing and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Process Expense Reports and Expense Reporting
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
