Robert Half Part Time HR/Payroll Admin in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time HR/Payroll Admin in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This position functions within the industry of HR/Payroll management, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in Auditing, Benefit Functions, Automated Payroll, and Payroll management. This part time position will work about 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular auditing of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage and oversee benefit functions within the organization.

• Utilize automated payroll systems for efficient processing of payroll activities.

• Handle payroll management for a workforce ranging from 101 to 500 employees.

• Resolve any payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries about payroll.

• Administer and maintain accurate records of employee payroll and benefits.

• Collaborate with HR team to manage employee data and ensure it is up-to-date.

• Oversee the communication of payroll updates and procedures to employees.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and best practices.

• Assist in other HR administrative duties as required.

Requirements • Prior experience of 1 year or more in a similar HR/Payroll Admin role

• Knowledge of auditing is essential

• Familiarity with benefit functions

• Proficiency in automated payroll systems

• Experience in handling payroll for 101 to 500 employees

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in using HR software and database systems

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly

• Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
