Robert Half International Divisional/Plant Controller in SALEM, Indiana

Description

Robert Half Management Resources has an IMMEDIATE opportunity to be part of our client's leadership team on an interim basis. In this role, you will oversee all accounting and finance functions for the site, acting as the balance in the business unit team ensuring all actions and decisions appropriate from a financial perspective.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures accuracy of G/L by detailed analysis of monthly P and L and Balance Sheets. Maintains companies’ operating results and key statistics. Analyzes accruals and performs forecasts as needed. Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliation/roll forward.

  • Performs monthly budget to actual variance analysis and distributes to appropriate managers/supervisors. Oversees development of annual budget. Works with shop floor management to meet/exceed their cost goals on a standard and a financial budget basis.

  • Responsible for the internal control effectiveness of the division

  • Responsible for the safeguarding the assets of the division including current inventory and long-lived asset controls. Calls for and audits physical inventory counts of stock and fixed assets.

  • Ensures proper financial hurdles are met with capital expenditures while tracking all capital expenditures for each project. Provides analytics on part profitability to sales team for pricing opportunities.

  • Manages the cash flow and working capital for the division.

  • Performs miscellaneous Accounting analyses and functions as needed or requested by management.

  • Responsible for completion of all forecast models and monthly reporting package to corporate office.

    Requirements

B.S. Degree in Accounting or related field

Minimum 5 plus years accounting and managerial experience required

Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
