Description
Robert Half has a full-time opportunity for Staff Accountant candidates who want to become a critical part of an innovative company. Candidates will need to be capable of rising to a variety of challenges while juggling multiple components of a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this Staff Accountant role, you will need to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. In this role, you will perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Major responsibilities
Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested
Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payments
Organize and review a variety of financial data, reporting it in a way that is useful and understandable
Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions
Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations
Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting
Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries
Partake in a variety of department-wide initiatives
Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process
Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision

Requirements - Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Electronic Manufacturing experience
Proficiency in Entertainment Companies
Foundational knowledge in journal entries
General ledger experience
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Strong attention to detail
Efficient in ERP systems
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Mature organizational, written and verbal communication skills
Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills
2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
