Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk for our non-profit organization located in Salem, Oregon, United States. The role primarily involves processing invoices, data entry, and managing federal grants. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Abila MIP.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for handling a high volume of accounts payable tasks
• Allocate invoices to multiple grants
• Process invoices and ensure they are coded correctly
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for basic data entry tasks and do not require pivot table knowledge
• Use Abila MIP for various accounting tasks
• Manage fund accounting tasks specific to the non-profit industry
• Handle federal grant accounting and ensure compliance with grant conditions
• Ensure accuracy in all accounting tasks and maintain detailed records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Experience in coding invoices
• Proficient in data entry tasks
• Ability to handle invoice processing efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Abila MIP software would be advantageous
• Experience in Federal Grant accounting
• Familiarity with grant accounting procedures
• Knowledge of Fund Accounting specific to Non-Profit organizations is essential.
