The Administrative Assistant works directly with the varied departments and office staff in support of sales, administrative, and customer service functions. The Administrative Assistant will be answering phones and responding to emailed support requests. The Administrative Assistant also receives and direct visitors, manages correspondence, and is responsible for records maintenance, including filing, scanning, and faxing. Additionally, customer service skills are critical in this role so the Administrative Assistant must be well-versed in relationship building and have an excellent phone presence.

Organizational skills: Organization and prioritization are the core elements of the Administrative Assistant's responsibilities. You must know how to keep yourself and others organized and how to determine which tasks are the most important.
Writing: Spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and writing are essential to an Administrative Assistant, who must be proficient in a variety of styles, from creative to professional to technical to education and more.
