Job Duties:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.

  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure accurate data entry in the HR system.

  • Process new hires, terminations, and other employee status changes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

  • Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.

  • Manage and facilitate performance review processes, and provide feedback to employees and managers.

  • Support HR manager in handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

  • Coordinate and participate in HR projects, such as policy updates, diversity initiatives, and employee engagement activities.

  • Assist in the administration of benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related issues and contribute to a positive work environment.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR operations and employee relations.

  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Team player with a customer-service mindset.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
