Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the Health Insurance industry, specifically in Salem, Oregon, 97302, United States. The role in question is that of a Medical Scheduler, where the selected individual will be tasked with scheduling for home health using Epic hyperdrive and interacting with patients and clinicians via phone and/or Microsoft teams.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate scheduling of patient appointments using Epic Hyperdrive.

• Regular interaction with patients and clinicians through phone and Microsoft Teams.

• Utilization of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) for maintaining accurate patient records.

• Leveraging skills in Epic Software and Epic System for streamlining operations.

• Assisting patients in scheduling their appointments and resolving their inquiries.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites for administrative tasks.

• Ensuring excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

• Handling inbound and outbound calls to coordinate appointments and address patient concerns.

• Utilizing scheduling software for managing patient appointments.

• Adherence to medical terminology to ensure clear and concise communication. Requirements • Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and Epic Software

• Experience with scheduling software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook

• Ability to schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to assist patients with scheduling needs

• Experience with inbound and outbound calls in a healthcare setting

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of industry-specific software such as Epic EMR and Epic System

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
