Description
Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an integral part of the rapidly growing team at a company in the Agriculture industry. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks and expense reports. This dynamic department will provide you with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Carmel, California area and is a permanent employment.
How you will make an impact
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Execute additional tasks as needed
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Operate full-cycle A/P
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

Requirements
1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
3 Way Matching experience desired
Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Proven knowledge of Code Invoices
Batching experience preferred
Aging Accounts experience preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
