Description

This position is for candidates with the ability to to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. How you will make an impact
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Perform special projects as assigned
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Perform full-cycle A/P
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Provide customer service to internal business partners

Requirements
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Batching experience required
Foundational knowledge in Check Runs
Solid understanding of Batch Processing
Coding experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
