A company in the Manufacturing industry is offering an opportunity as a Data Entry Clerk to join their growing team with the potential for further career growth. As the Data Entry Clerk, you will complete various accounting and finance support tasks, including accurately entering significant amounts of data into Microsoft Excel as well as ERP systems and databases. This Data Entry Clerk role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity in Salinas, California.
Your responsibilities
Continuing operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
Working with highly confidential materials
Supporting the company in data entry and other administrative tasks
Processing customer and account source documents, reviewing data and detecting deficiencies
Ensuring data entry meets requirements by adhering to program techniques and procedures
Working on special projects as assigned
Preparing data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities Requirements - Excellent communication and organizational skills
Data entry speed over 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
3+ years of experience related to this role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
