Job Title: Payroll Clerk Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Payroll Manager
Job Location: To be determined
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Payroll Clerk Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a keen understanding of the payroll process. The incumbent will be responsible for calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
Responsibilities:
Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions
Prepare and issue earnings statements regularly
Handle the issuance of paychecks and manage direct deposit enrollments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Coordinate closely with the Human Resources (HR) department to ensure the correctness and completeness of employee data
Other duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager
Qualifications: Applicant must possess at least a High School diploma. A Degree or Certificate in Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field is preferred. Experience working in a clerical or administrative position, particularly within the payroll department, will be advantageous. Proficiency in payroll software, as well as excellent organization and communication skills, are also required.
