Robert Half Credit Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah
Description
We are in search of a meticulous Credit Manager to join our team located in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Credit Manager, your role will involve overseeing our credit policies, managing customer accounts, and maintaining a balance between risk management and business growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
Analyze financial statements and credit reports to determine creditworthiness of new and existing customers
Manage a portfolio of accounts ranging from $5,000 to $500,000 with a total portfolio of $7.5 million to $9.5 million at any given time
Lead collection efforts on past-due accounts and negotiate payment terms
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to support business growth while minimizing credit risk
Provide regular reports on credit performance and risk exposure to senior management
Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team (2 AR Specialist as their direct reports.)
Continuously improve credit and collection processes
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus - not required.
5+ years of experience in credit (AR) management, preferably in a high-volume or B2B environment
Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding negotiation and communication abilities
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems and credit management software - Knowledge of Kerridge (K-8) is a HUGE plus
