Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah, 84104, United States. The role is central to the processing and handling of data, with a particular focus on the application of AWS Technologies, Data Build Tool (DBT), Kimball Methodology, Python, and SQL. The employment type for this position is permanent.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain efficient data models using the Kimball methodology
• Leverage Python and PySpark to process and analyze data
• Implement AWS technologies for infrastructural support
• Utilize SQL proficiency for database management and operations
• Employ DBT for data build processes
• Handle dimensional data modeling tasks
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data elements in the database
• Collaboratively work with the team to optimize data-driven procedures
• Address data-related problems in a timely and effective manner
Requirements • Possession of a minimum of three years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in a related role
• Proven proficiency in using AWS Technologies
• Demonstrable experience in working with Data Build Tool (DBT)
• Familiarity with Kimball Methodology for data warehousing
• Solid knowledge of and experience in programming with Python
• Extensive experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex data problems
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
