Robert Half IT Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Salt Lake City, Utah
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an IT Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is instrumental in our team, focusing on the management of various IT projects within the manufacturing industry. The IT Project Manager/Sr. Consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage IT projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget.
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for project management and coordination.
• Apply the standard waterfall methodology to manage the progression of the project.
• Leverage MS Dynamics Business Central experience to manage business operations.
• Utilize SharePoint for collaboration, file sharing, and web publishing.
• Oversee the application and maintenance of manufacturing industry standards in all projects.
• Monitor project deliverables and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to keep them informed about the progress of the project.
• Identify potential project risks and devise contingency plans.
• Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or related roles.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Experience with SharePoint is necessary.
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential.
• Knowledge of Traditional Waterfall project management methodologies is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
