Robert Half IT Security Project Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Security Project Manager for our client with expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) reporting, as well as a strong background in Incident Response and a deep understanding of security metrics, Information Security (InfoSec) governance, and policies.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead and coordinate efforts to develop, implement, and maintain Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) reporting frameworks.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies through effective GRC reporting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with information security.
Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring rapid and effective responses to security incidents.
Lead and coordinate incident response teams, conducting post-incident analysis and implementing improvements to enhance future response capabilities.
Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities, adjusting incident response strategies accordingly.
Security Metrics and InfoSec Governance:
Establish and maintain security metrics to measure and communicate the effectiveness of information security controls.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of InfoSec governance and policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for security initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and risks in a timely manner.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an IT Security Project Manager with a focus on GRC reporting and Incident Response.
In-depth knowledge of security metrics, InfoSec governance, and policies.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are highly desirable.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
