Description We are inviting applications for the role of Tax Staff - Public in the construction/contractor industry. The job location is in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, United States. As a Tax Staff - Public, you will be handling a variety of tasks related to accounting and auditing, with a focus on tax-related procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle diverse accounting functions, including processing and maintaining financial records.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, and CCH ProSystem for effective business operations.

• Carry out auditing tasks to ensure financial compliance and accuracy in the company's books.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the preparation and submission of tax documents.

• Assist in entity formation processes, ensuring all financial aspects are correctly managed.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights to the management for decision-making.

• Handle customer inquiries efficiently, providing accurate information and resolving issues when necessary.

• Monitor customer accounts, performing necessary actions when required.

• Continually update your knowledge and skills related to accounting functions and tax regulations.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth business operations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Tax Staff - Public role, preferably in the construction or contractor industry.

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Knowledge and experience in using CaseWare and CCH IntelliConnect.

• Familiarity with CCH Prosystem and CCH ProSystem Fx.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions and Auditing tasks.

• Strong understanding of Compliance procedures and Entity Formation.

• Capable of preparing and analyzing Financial Statements.

• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the country.
