Description

Robert Half is looking for an experienced, driven Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at an innovative, on-the-rise company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. You will establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every day:

  • Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

  • Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

  • Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

  • Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

  • Play key role in implementation of NetSuite Financials including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met

  • Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

    Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

  • Month end closings experience desired

  • Analyze Financial Statements experience

  • Analyze Financial Statements experience preferred

  • Adeptness in Fixed Asset Depreciation

  • Strong familiarity with financial statement preparation

  • Fixed Asset Accounting experience highly desired

  • Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

  • 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience

  • Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
