We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in NW San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be leading accounting and operations teams, assisting in monthly closing procedures, overseeing accounts payable processes, and managing fixed asset accounting. This role is within the power generation industry and requires expertise in various accounting software systems and ERP Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support accounting and operations teams to foster an environment of trust and productivity.

• Collaborate with the Division Controller to identify risks and areas for improvement in internal processes and controls.

• Assist in monthly closing procedures including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, reporting, and account reconciliations.

• Review customer invoicing and manage milestone billings.

• Oversee the accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.

• Monitor purchasing and receiving activities for any exceptions.

• Support the cash management process.

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking assets, purchases, disposals, and authority for expenditures.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.

• Implement and utilize technology tools to create efficiencies and improve data accuracy.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Leverage skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Great Plains (GPAC) to perform job functions.

• Execute accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is expected

• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) is a must

• Demonstrable experience in Accounting Functions is required

• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Auditing skills are required

• Experience in Billing Functions is necessary.
