Description

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of all stages of engagement execution and administration for consulting and accounting services projects

• Cultivate an understanding of our current client base and pinpoint opportunities for cross-selling consulting and accounting services

• Retain existing clients by demonstrating a client-centric approach and a sense of urgency in addressing their needs

• Efficiently execute engagements by consistently monitoring their progress and proposing fees that align effectively with the services rendered

• Establish strong client relationships, positioning oneself as a trusted member of their team

• Supervise the billing process for clients

• Lead and provide training to team members within the department

• Fulfill other duties as necessary and assigned

Expectations:

• This role will require regular off-site presence for in-person client meetings and participation in business development activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is mandatory

• Possession of a CPA designation is mandatory

• Previous experience in public accounting is a prerequisite

• Over 5 years of recent experience in a related field is required

• Proficiency in financial reporting, including extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, is necessary

• Familiarity with accounting and operational matters across various industries, such as manufacturing, restaurants, service organizations, non-profit organizations, and construction, is preferred

• Basic understanding of U.S. income tax and Texas margin tax rules to appropriately guide CAS clients to tax subject-matter experts when necessary

• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills are crucial
