Description
Qualifications:
• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA designation is highly preferred
• More than 2 years of recent experience in public accounting
• Proficient in prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail
• Competent in utilizing various computer systems, programs, and data retrieval tools such as CCH Accounting Research Manager, Advance Flow, PPC, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
Expectations:
• This role will involve regular off-site presence for in-person client meetings.
• Willingness to travel within San Antonio and surrounding areas
Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Take charge of engagements and effectively convey crucial information to audit staff, managers, partners, and clients
• Supervise audit fieldwork to ensure completion within the designated timeframe
• Execute planning by conducting client interviews, assembling necessary audit documents, and assigning tasks to the audit team
• Conduct audits and reviews for a diverse range of organizations including non-profit entities, for-profit businesses, and employee benefit plans across various industries
• Conduct in-depth research on intricate accounting issues
• Draft the initial version of the audit report
• Provide oversight to audit staff assigned to the engagement and review their work on a daily basis
• Fulfill other duties as required and delegated
