Robert Half Compensation & Benefits Specialist in San Antonio, Texas


Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads team of analysts providing analysis and consulting to enterprise in support of development and maintenance of compensation systems, including job structures, salary ranges, and pay strategy.

  • Initiates and facilitates collaboration with HR and college peers and leaders to effectively deliver compensation initiatives and support other activities affecting job structure and salary ranges. Identifies opportunities for improvement and leads development of strategies for implementation.

  • Develops and implements compensation strategy, policies and procedures to support organizational goals. Provides recommendations for policies and programs that follow good compensation practices and align with employer's objectives. Trains HR staff and managers on compensation, reward and recognition strategies and best practices.

  • Supervises, selects, trains, monitors, coaches, and evaluates the work of team members. Maintains and processes employment related documents such as time sheets and leave forms.

  • Manages participation in salary and other ad-hoc surveys in order to obtain cost-effective market data and provide support to peer institutions. Leads analysis of results and recommendations for action based on findings.

  • Identifies, develops and executes cost and effectiveness metrics and recommendations for new and existing reward programs. Develops and presents communications to support decision-making and implementation.

  • Performs all duties as assigned.
