Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in San Antonio, Texas, 78216, United States. This role involves critical tactical and strategic management, with a focus on planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and operational reporting. The Controller will be a key part of our leadership team, contributing to both short and long-term strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the regional controller in the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, goals, and procedures

• Manage a highly motivated team in line with business needs and financial staffing standards

• Foster cross-departmental collaboration for financial transparency and business growth

• Develop and improve internal financial management control systems

• Prepare and ensure compliance of financial statements and operating reports with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements

• Review financial statements and provide recommendations to improve performance

• Oversee timely and accurate processing of transactions and accounting data

• Manage compliance regulations related to DOL, IRS, 401(k), and medical

• Coordinate with CPA firm for preparation of external audit materials, external GAAP financial reporting, and tax compliance and reporting

• Oversee the deployment and operation of ERP system

• Assess organizational performance against budgets with functional leaders and management team

• Manage banking and bonding requirements

• Ensure all employees comply with our safety initiatives. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Must be adept in the use of CRM tools.

• Experience with Crystal Reports is necessary.

• Must have a deep understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed.

• Prior experience in Auditing is a must.

• Knowledge of Budget Processes is required.

• Must have experience in Month End Close processes.
