Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in the banking industry, situated in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing consistently high-quality service and support to end users in a dynamic work environment. This role will involve both desk-based work and providing service at user's desks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record and document all details of the issue or service request, including categorization and priority into the IT service desk tool.

• Provide remote access via IT service desk tool and or Skype for Business.

• Utilize Active Directory and O365 as part of daily tasks.

• Provide hands-on support to internal staff, maintaining hardware/software support.

• Leverage internal and external resources (knowledge bases, manuals, support sites, vendors) to answer questions and resolve issues.

• Process and manage service desk tickets efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution.

• Collaborate with IT team members to enhance service delivery.

• Assist in the training and guidance of new team members.

• Stay updated on the latest processes and IT industry trends.

• Adhere to all company procedures and policies. Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar customer support role.

• Proficiency in Active Directory and Service Desk Tickets is required.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist users and explain technical concepts.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on empathy, patience, and professionalism.

• Willingness to continue learning and improving technical skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technology.
