Robert Half Financial Analyst in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are seeking a meticulous and analytical individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves providing financial guidance and support to our operations management, developing forecasts, and analyzing business processes for profitability. The Financial Analyst will also be involved in standardizing processes and reports throughout the organization, and offering support in areas such as tax and treasury.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance and Operational business partner, offering guidance and insight to improve business processes and profitability

• Develop accurate plans and forecasts involving revenue, costs, margin, and operating expenses

• Review results against plans and forecasts, identifying and explaining variations and key drivers

• Minimize working capital by investigating inventory, A/R, A/P, projects, etc., and assisting in cost-saving activities

• Collaborate with corporate and business teams to develop best practices, establish policies, and outline processes/procedures

• Resolve inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring clarification of needs, uses, and deliverables

• Assist in standardizing processes and reports throughout the organization, including corporate and business units

• Conduct necessary meetings to meet requirements, discuss options, review results, and encourage team involvement

• Review, analyze, recommend, implement, and evaluate various strategic/optimization projects

• Establish, monitor, and improve commercial and operational metrics Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• CapEx management skills are essential

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is required

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) and About Time software is necessary

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial

• Experience in Budget Processes and Expense Reporting is a must

• A strong financial background, especially in Finance, is required.
