Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Enterprise Analyst/Engineer in San Antonio, Texas. This role resides within the infrastructure - Support function of our organization. The successful candidate will be a key player in aligning business integration and executing technical requirements for various projects. You will be providing expertise across a broad spectrum of technologies and acting as an escalation point for technical issues.
Responsibilities:
• Align with business units, project teams, and internal/external stakeholders to determine the best manner to implement technical requirements and solutions.
• Provide expertise in various technologies including servers, storage, backup systems, networking, and security at a Tier 3 level.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical issues related to new initiatives and the operational infrastructure already in place.
• Deliver Tier 3 support to meet the networking, server, database, and applications needs of the Enterprise.
• Provide subject matter expertise or escalation opportunities to the Infrastructure Design Tier III Team.
• Lead and review work efforts and craftsmanship.
• Analyze each situation before determining the appropriate response, diagnosing why a condition exists to fully remediate the root issue.
• Coordinate outsourced projects and resources and disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Work closely as part of a team comprised of infrastructure staff to improve established processes, meeting or exceeding agreed-upon service levels.
• Ensure continuous operation and availability of systems through administration of systems.
• Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, Firewall Technologies, Enterprise Environment, Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCNA, SD-WAN, and Project Methodology.

Requirements • Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
• Familiar with Checkpoint technology
• Experience with Cisco ASA firewall
• Ability to work with Cisco Routers
• Knowledge of Cisco Technologies
• Capability to handle Computer Hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Ability to Design network infrastructure
• Understanding of Eigrp routing protocol
• Familiar with Firewall Technologies
• Experience in an Enterprise Environment
• Cisco CCNP or CCNA certification is beneficial
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technology
• Familiarity with Project Methodology
