We are seeking a Network Administrator based in San Antonio, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software. You will work closely with our team to monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement robust network security measures. Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
• Monitor network performance regularly to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Manage user accounts and access permissions efficiently
• Conduct routine backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of data
• Stay updated on emerging network technologies and recommend system upgrades when necessary
• Provide technical support to staff for network-related issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Document network configurations and procedures to maintain a comprehensive record of network operations
• Utilize skills in Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, Microsoft, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management.
Requirements • Demonstrable experience as a Network Administrator for a minimum of three years
• Proficiency in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and Firewall Technologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Active Directory
• Experience with Backup Technologies
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
• Ability to design and implement network configurations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to network optimization
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functional roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
