Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant - Audit and Budgeting Professional to join a great Manufacturing organization in South San Antonio. The successful candidate will have a hybrid finance and accounting background and will be tasked with ensuring the company's financial operations and controls meet standards and are properly recorded. The individual hired will communicate extensively with external auditors and internal management team to provide the assurance that our operations are recorded appropriately in our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the necessary systems and controls to safeguard the company's assets and to ensure the production of accurate and timely financial reports.

  • Oversee financial operations including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.

  • Manage the process, response, and communication for external audits.

  • Proactively put into place plans and processes to ensure and sustain compliance with auditing standards.

  • Administer year-end audits, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure all relevant data is available.

  • Manage and maintain records and schedules for all fixed assets.

  • Participate in the budgeting process and analyses related to cost control and profitability forecasting.

    Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Candidates with a Business Degree will be considered provided they can demonstrate exceptional skills and experience.

  • Proven experience in managing fixed assets.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with financial audits and establishing systems and processes for compliance.

  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in generating reports and presentations for forecasting and budgeting.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
